We are Rolando and Olga Mestre, a couple young at heart and always dreaming of the next adventure. We are blessed with a beautiful family of six children, and six enchanting grandchildren. They keep us grounded, and they motivate us to live each day to the fullest.
Together we discovered that we love the outdoors, exploring places off the beaten path, hiking, trying new things, and meeting people. Wherever life takes us, we love going there together.
Through different experiences which have inspired us, we have set a goal to hike El Camino to Santiago de Compostela, Spain. This blog recounts our hiking, traveling, as well as other life experiences, preparing for and leading to the hike of a lifetime, El Camino.
